About the role

A well-established Boulder custom builder specializing in high-end, sustainable construction is seeking a full-time Office & Accounting Assistant to support accounting, project management, and office operations. We are looking for a dependable, organized person who can manage multiple priorities, take ownership of day-to-day processes, and keep things moving.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage AP/AR, invoice entry and coding, billing, deposits, payments, credit card expenses, reimbursements, and vendor reconciliations
  • Manage construction draws, including logs, reports, client packages, bank submissions, lien releases, and payment posting
  • Support payroll, timekeeping, job-cost accounting, and coding follow-upMaintain vendor/subcontractor W-9s, COIs, invoices, and compliance records
  • Set up clients and maintain files in QuickBooks, SharePoint, and related systems
  • Handle phones, email, mail, filing, new-lead routing, and general office administration
  • Assist with employee onboarding and recurring accounting/office deadlines
Qualifications
Required: Working knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop
Experience with bookkeeping, AP/AR, invoicing, reconciliations, and accounting administration Strong Excel, Outlook, organizational, and communication skills Detail-oriented, proactive, and reliable Construction/job-cost accounting, Buildertrend, and SharePoint experience preferred Interest in sustainable building or green construction is a plus
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $45,000–$55,000 annually, commensurate with experience 401(k) with company match
