About the role

Are you an experienced seamstress who is looking for an opportunity to make a huggable keepsake for family members who have lost a loved one? Memory bears are constructed from clothing that the family provides which has meaning to them or their loved one who was on service. We provide the pattern and you provide the talent and time- you can be creative! This is done in your home- we will drop off an dpick up the material/bear. We do provide reimbursement for cost incurred- if you keep your receipts. The bears serve as lasting comfort to those who have lost their loved ones. This is an opportunity for someone in our service areas which are: Armstrong, Allegheny, Beaver, Butler, Fayette, Greene, Lawernce, Washington and Westmoreland.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
