Job Description: Branch Manager – Heavy Equipment Chesterfield, MI | $80,000 Base + Performance Bonus | $120K Total Comp Potential You know heavy equipment. You know how a shop runs. Now run the branch. We’re looking for aBranch Manager who can get out from behind the desk and talk shop. This is a leadership role in a busy heavy equipment operation. You’ll work directly with theservice, parts, sales and rental teams, stay connected to what’s happening on the shop floor, work with customers and make sure the branch is getting the job done. You don’t have to be the guy turning every wrench — but you need to understand what the guys in the shop are talking about. If a tech tells you a machine has a hydraulic issue, a parts order is holding up a repair, or a customer has equipment sitting down, you should be able to have a real conversation about it and help get things moving.
What You’ll Be Doing: Run the day-to-day operation of the branch Lead and supportservice, parts, sales and rental Stay involved with shop workflow, equipment repairs and customer needs Manage, coach and hold branch personnel accountable Work with technicians and service personnel to keep jobs moving Build and maintain strong customer relationships Help resolve service, parts and equipment issues before they become bigger problems Monitor branch sales, service, expenses, inventory and profitability Drive branch performance and help grow the business Hire, train and develop employees
What We’re Looking For: We’re looking for someone withreal-world experience around heavy equipment, diesel, construction equipment, parts, service or a similar environment. You could be coming from a: Branch Manager role Service Manager / Shop Manager position Parts & Service Manager role Equipment dealership or rental operation Foreman or working supervisor position Lead Technician role who has moved into management The title on your resume matters less than whether youunderstand the business and know how to lead people.
Compensation & Benefits: $80,000 base salary + performance-based bonus The bonus is based onbranch performance, with total compensation reachingapproximately $120,000.
