About the role
- Create innovative optical and acoustic signal processing algorithms
- Analyze test data to assess algorithm performance and drive improvements
- Support software team's implementation of the algorithms
- Excellent communication skills that enable you to explain complex signaling systems
- Other duties as required and needed for the program
- MS Degree in signal processing or similar relevant education8 – 10 years of experience creating innovative signal processing algorithms (additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
- Experience using MatlabU.S. citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain U.S. government security clearance
- May require light physical effort, involving standing, sitting and use of hands while performing duties, carrying or lifting up to 20 pounds
- Working environment is indoor, moderately quiet, reasonably clean, well-lit, and well-ventilated; moderate physical hazards may exist
