About the role

We are seeking a driven, commercially aggressive Sales Manager to lead sales initiatives across our PET (Virgin & Recycled Resin), Synthetic Fibres, and broader polymer lines (PE, PP, PS).Supported by an established international supply chain and dedicated back-office logistics teams across the US and Europe, this position allows you to focus heavily on strategic deal-making, market penetration, and key account management without getting bogged down in day-to-day fulfilment details
Key Responsibilities: Market Expansion & BD: Drive new customer acquisition across beverage & food packaging, preforms, thermoforming connections, and synthetic fibre producers Key Account Management: Nurture and grow existing high-value client relationships, positioning the company as a primary long-term supplier Product Coverage: Lead commercial growth across virgin & recycled PET resins (bottle-grade and polymer), synthetic staples/fibres (PET & PP), and polyolefins (PE, PP, PS).Commercial Strategy: Develop aggressive short- and long-term regional territory plans across the East Coast and Midwest, supporting future expansion into Western markets. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner directly with executive leadership, international supply teams, and dedicated internal logistics/support personnel to streamline delivery schedules and commercial execution.
Candidate Requirements
Experience: Minimum 5+ years of proven B2B sales experience within polymers, petrochemicals, or plastics wholesale, specifically with a strong background in PET resin sales (virgin and/or rPET).Industry Focus: Experience targeting preform manufacturers, thermoformers, packaging converters, or fibre producers. Backgrounds coming from producers, global traders, or distributors.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Chemical Engineering, or a related field preferred. Skillset: High commercial acumen, hunter mindset for business development, strong negotiation capabilities, and solid market analysis skills.
