Director of Litigation Operations $100000 - $125000 per year | Uniondale, NY | On-site | Permanent Long Island, NY | $100K–$120K DOE | Litigation Operations Leadership Role A bit about us: A well-established Long Island plaintiff personal injury firm is looking for an experienced Director of Litigation Operations & Case Management to oversee the operational side of its litigation practice. This is a non-attorney leadership position. A JD or law license is not required. This person will work closely with firm leadership, attorneys, paralegals and support staff to make sure cases are progressing, deadlines and milestones are being tracked, workloads are appropriately managed, and nothing falls through the cracks.

Job Details
What We're Looking For:
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in litigation operations, case management, litigation support, senior paralegal management or a comparable legal-management position
  • Strong understanding of the litigation lifecycle from commencement through resolution
  • Experience overseeing substantial case inventories
  • Experience managing or overseeing paralegals, legal assistants, litigation support staff or other legal teams
  • Experience improving case-management processes, workflows and operational performance
  • Strong understanding of litigation deadlines, discovery and case-management requirements
  • Experience with KPIs, reporting, dashboards and/or productivity metrics
  • Strong leadership, organization and problem-solving skills
  • Comfort with legal case-management software, workflow technology and data
