About the role

Plano, TX: Specialty: NP or PA for PICU • BC/BE: BC Will look at NP s and PA s If provider is NP they must be Critical care certified. If they are a PA other certificates are acceptable. • Dates needed: ASAP ongoing • Schedule: Ideal locum candidates can provide at least 4-6 shifts per 4-week block; o Variable days, evenings, nights, & weekends as part of a 24/7/365 coverage model o Weekend, Night, and Holiday work is shared equally among all team members o 12-hour Days/Nights (, ) • Call: In-house night call responsibilities are shared among all team members who have completed orientation to nights. • PICU: 6-8 patients during the day; night call includes all patients assigned to team at checkout as well as any new admission assigned to the team. Specialty skills and procedures: Arterial line placement, Central Venous Line Placement, Chest Tube Placement, Endotracheal Intubation, Lumbar Puncture, PICC Placement

  • Interview process/timeline from time of presentation: Name clear, candidate submittals, schedule 30-minute virtual teams interview and will confirm if they want to extend an offer after the interview.
  • Credentialing timeframe: 90 days
  • Any specific items needed: will need NPR certification, will also look at licensure candidate
  • Client prefers to initially offer a 13-week contract, but will consider a 26-week assignment, case-by-case Katlin Tagget(O) (C) (E)
