About the role

Credit & Collections Specialist We are seeking a Credit Specialist to join our Credit and Collections team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, dependable, and experienced in credit analysis and collections, with a background in the construction industry. This role involves daily communication with customers, evaluating creditworthiness, maintaining accurate account records, and protecting the company's financial interests.
What You'll Do: Conduct collection calls and emails to follow up on past due accounts Monitor aging reports and follow up on delinquent accounts Research and resolve billing or payment discrepancies Review pre-lien notices and maintain lien rights documentation Set up and maintain customer account documentation Reconcile customer accounts accurately Complete trade reference requests Respond to customer account inquiries with professionalism and a customer service mindset
What We're Looking For: Minimum 2 years of experience in credit, collections, or accounts receivable Knowledge of credit practices and lien laws, preferably in the construction industry Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics or similar platforms)Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Ability to follow instructions, manage priorities, and meet deadlines Professional, courteous communicator with a customer service mindset Organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
