About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Support Specialist to support day-to-day insurance operations within a Managing General Agency (MGA) environment. This role will provide exposure to underwriting, claims, product distribution, risk management, and agency operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-service mindset. Insurance, mortgage, financial services, or related office experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities: Assist with the timely distribution of policy correspondence and legal documents through physical mail and email. Support building/property inspections by validating information provided and identifying non-standard or atypical findings. Communicate inspection findings and other exceptions to appropriate stakeholders within established service standards. Develop an understanding of agency management, product distribution, claims procedures, underwriting, and risk management. Communicate professionally with customers, internal teams, agents, and other relevant stakeholders through email and other appropriate channels. Collaborate cross-functionally with Compliance, Claims, Product, Underwriting, and other business units. Support process improvements and provide feedback and recommendations to leadership. Assist with product and operational enhancements. Provide coverage for other team members during peak periods or staff absences to maintain business continuity. Maintain accurate records and complete assigned activities within required timelines.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in insurance, mortgage, financial services, or related office operations. Experience supporting insurance operations, underwriting, claims, or policy administration. Completion of insurance or financial industry designations or certifications. Familiarity with building construction types, property terminology, or inspection processes. Experience working in a cross-functional business environment.
