Welcome New Grads MaxCare Health & Residential Services is seeking a passionate Full-Time, Part-Time, Weekend Only or PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. MaxCare Health & Residential Services is a residential provider offering nursing services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities who have complex medical needs. Shifts available: (Full-Time, Part-Time, Every Other Weekend, PRN)7:00 am - 3:30pm3:00 pm - 11:30 pm 11:00 pm - 7:30 am

INCLUDES SHIFT DIFFERENTIALBasic Responsibilities:

Provide nursing care for individuals with intellectual disabilities
Provide basic patient care and treatment in collaboration with the Direct Support Professional (CNA)
Educate and update patients on medical treatments
Daily documentation of services provided and progress towards goals
Collaborate with an RN to administer prescribed medications and coordinate services as applicable

Minimum Qualifications:

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Virginia
Current CPR certification preferredPrevious experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities preferredPrevious experience in nursing or other medical fields
Ability to build rapport with patients, families, state officials, and peers
Compassionate and caring demeanor
