2ND SHIFT TOOL & DIE MAKER'S NEEDED - JACKSON, MICHIGAN A Leading Automotive Supplier near Jackson, Michigan needs 2nd Shift Tool & Die Maker's. The 2nd Shift Working Hours are 3 P.M. to 11:30 P.M. Offering a 5 Day Work Week with Limited Weekend Overtime and Volunteer Overtime is Available. A $1,000.00 Sign On Bonus is Available. These are Full Time, Permanent, Direct Hire Positions with Competitive Hourly Compensation, $1.50 Off Shift Premium, Benefits 1st Day of Employment, Paid Holidays & Paid Vacation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Tool & Die Maker you will get to use blueprints to determine project specifications, set up and operate machine tools, finish and adjust parts, and test tools to ensure quality standards are met. You will also get to make use of your outstanding mechanical and mathematical skills while crafting tools and dies. This position is excellent for anyone with exceptional technical expertise and a positive, team-oriented attitude looking to work for a company where they can grow and hone their skills. Troubleshooting of all Stamping Dies, Die Cast Molds, Injection Rubber / Nylon Molds Repair & Maintenance of all Stamping Dies, Die Cast Molds, Injection Rubber / Nylon Molds and Tooling to support Production needs Assist with Quality Circle activities within the Die Maintenance Teams Assist Production when required EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience in all areas of Die Maintenance Excellent Visual Accuracy & should be able to Read Blueprints Formal Training at a recognized Trade School, College or Equipment Maker Basic Mathematical Skills, with the ability to Add, Subtract, Divide and Multiply A Journeyman’s Card or 5 years documented related experience in the Tool & Die Trade Excellent Technical Skills, with the ability to Problem-Solve & Troubleshoot Mechanical Problems TO APPLY: If you are a high performer and would like to work for an equally high performing company and you think the above opportunity is appropriate for you, we invite you to submit your resume in Microsoft Word format to:
