Job Description: Job Description The Experienced Mechanic will service a mixed fleet in an independent repair shop, performing routine and advanced diagnostics, planning repairs, and completing a broad range of mechanical, electrical, and preventive maintenance services.
Responsibilities: Perform vehicle diagnostics across a mixed fleet. Plan and execute mechanical repairs. Complete preventive maintenance services. Repair and service engines. Perform brake system inspections and repairs. Diagnose and repair electrical systems. Complete tire repairs and tire swaps. Conduct routine and advanced troubleshooting.
Required Qualifications: Automotive diagnostics experience. Engine repair expertise. Knowledge of brake systems. Electrical diagnostics experience. Preventive maintenance experience. Automotive Service Excellence certification or experience. Strong troubleshooting skills. Attention to detail. Commitment to safety compliance.
Preferred Qualifications: Five or more years of automotive repair experience. High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license.
