About Kömmerling USAKömmerling USA, Inc. is part of the profine Group, a global leader in PVC window and door profile systems. At our Huntsville, Alabama location, we manufacture high-quality windows and doors. As we continue to grow our Window & Door business in the U.S. market, we are looking for an experienced Head of Inside Sales Windows & Doors to serve as a key link between our customers, Sales organization, and Manufacturing team.
Your Responsibilities: Serve as the central point of coordination between customers, Sales, Engineering/Product Management, and Manufacturing for Window & Door projects. Support the Sales team with customer quotations and project proposals, including clarification of technical requirements and product configurations. Review customer requirements and determine whether requested configurations can be manufactured according to our product specifications and capabilities. Verify in our internal technical and certification databases whether the required certifications, test reports, performance ratings, and approvals are available for requested configurations. Work closely with Manufacturing to determine production feasibility, lead times, capacity, and realistic project timelines. Proactively track customer projects and orders from initial inquiry through production and completion. Identify potential technical issues, certification gaps, delays, or production bottlenecks and coordinate solutions with the responsible teams. Ensure outstanding decisions, documentation, customer information, and internal action items are followed up and completed. Maintain clear project documentation and provide regular status updates to Sales leadership and other stakeholders. Help continuously improve the interface and processes between Sales and Manufacturing.
What We're Looking For: Several years of professional experience with window and door systems; experience with Tilt & Turn and sliding door systems is a strong plus. Strong technical understanding of Tilt & Turn systems, configurations, hardware, applications, and performance requirements. Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or several years of relevant professional experience. Experience in project management, technical sales support, application engineering, architectural consulting, or a comparable technical role. Experience coordinating customer requirements with Sales and Manufacturing is strongly preferred. Previous project leadership or team leadership experience is a plus. Experience with window and door certifications, performance ratings, test reports, or building-code-related requirements is preferred. Strong organizational and communication skills with a high level of ownership, initiative, and follow-through. Ability to manage multiple customer projects and priorities simultaneously. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; German language skills are a plus.
