Looking for math tutors provide academic support to students in a variety of math subjects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics and a passion for helping students succeed. Becoming a math tutor will require and provide additional training. **This is a pooled position. Applicants are selected from the pool as positions become available. After a period of time the pool will expire and applicants will be notified.
Required Qualifications:
Must be a WSU student Completed Calculus I with a B+ or better, or equivalent course. Must maintain a GPA of at least 3.0 in mathematics subjects, as well as a cumulative 3.0 GPA A strong working knowledge of the subject matter you will be tutoring Good listening, communication, and interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications Prior tutoring or teaching experience is preferred Background Check?
