Now Hiring: Heavy Equipment Operator Eccard Excavating, LLC is a growing, family-owned excavation company specializing in site work and utilities throughout Central Ohio. We offer the close-knit, family atmosphere of a small company combined with the equipment, organization, and opportunity you'd expect from a much larger operation. We are currently seeking a full-time heavy equipment operator to join our team.
What You'll Do: Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment including excavators, bulldozers, skid loaders, rollers, etc (various other equipment as needed).Perform site work and utility installation on a variety of projects. Read and interpret construction plans, understand grade setting, and work from stakes. Work outdoors in all types of weather conditions. Be a team playerwilling to step in and help where needed to keep projects moving. Maintain equipment and follow all company safety procedures.
What We're Looking For: Minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment. Ability to read plans and understand grades. Class A CDL preferred, or a willingness to obtain. Strong work ethic with a team-first mindset. Willingness to work weekly overtime. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
