Job Description
Overview: As part of the Corporate Accounting team at Waters Corporation this role will be responsible for managing and optimizing the Blackline reconciliation and task management modules within the application. This role involves system maintenance, user support, and ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial data. Working cross functionally with stakeholders across the globe including Waters Corporate Accounting, Finance, IT and our external auditors, this individual will be responsible for completing administration tasks, providing end user training and support as needed, collaborating on projects that impact the Blackline application and implementing process improvements within the application and SOP’s.
Responsibilities: Manage user accounts, roles, and permissions within Blackline. Ensure system configurations and settings are optimized for performance and security. Oversee data imports, exports, and integrations with other financial systems. Maintain data accuracy and consistency. Maintain and improve existing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to support system usage and financial processes. Collaborate with finance teams to streamline reconciliation processes and improve automation. Implement best practices and ensure compliance with internal controls. Monitor system updates and implement enhancements to improve functionality. Create and maintain financial reports and dashboards. Analyze data to support decision-making processes.
Qualifications: Education /
Certifications: Bachelor's or higher degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience as Blackline administrator. Must have either been a system administrator at a multi-national customer, or a consultant that has worked on several Blackline system implementations. Complexity: Blackline Administrator certification Strong knowledge of US GAAPSAP ERP systems, ECC or S4 Hana Project Management Professional, initiative-taking, and highly motivated Excellent problem solving and reasoning skills Excellent listening, verbal / Non-verbal, and written communication skills Demonstrates the ability to: Work independently and adhere to deadlines Manage relationships and influence change at all levels in the global organization Succeed in a fast-paced and changing environment Understand capabilities and technologies to promote data driven analysis and reporting Creative and flexible in understanding business constraints and requirements Collaborator and able to communicate with and influence transversal teams Results oriented with the ability to summarize and report issues and opportunities while providing alternative courses of action / solutions Ability to operate in a multi-national organization with business partners to build and cultivate effective communication and collaboration Ability to gather information, develop and analyze complex data sets, cutting through challenges to arrive at quality insights / solutions Please share your resume & the below details to process your profile to the Client Full Name: Work Authorization/ Visa Status: Availability: Linked In:
