About the role
Responsibilities:- Train and mentor government staff in IT Governance best practices- Create IT metrics and develop key performance indicators, criterion, and critical success factors for IT investments- Design and implementation of standards and best practices in governance- Execute and manage critical IT processes and how those processes impact IT's efficiency and effectiveness, including IT change management- Significant contributor to the System Development Life Cycles (SDLCs)- Attends and participates within the Change Control Board/Change Approval Board (CCB/CAB) meetings as neededQualifications: - US Citizenship required- Experience and knowledge with the following frameworks: ITIL, ITIM, ISO/IEC 27002 - Previous consulting experience with Federal Agencies- Familiarity with federal government systems and operations- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an eye for attention to detail for policy documentation- Exhibit strong collaboration skills with the ability to positively influence all levels of management- Ability to multi task, work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment- Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills- Knowledge of configuration management practices- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities- Aptitude for working autonomously and prioritizing workload to achieve goals- Requires BS degree plus 6 years of relevant work experience.
