About the role

IDEAYA Biosciences in South San Francisco seeks a Senior Principal Research Scientist to lead Protein Sciences programs, supervise a small team, and solve complex protein-production challenges across multiple drug-discovery projects. You will master recombinant expression, purification, and characterization using bacterial and insect-cell systems, mentor staff, coordinate CROs, and collaborate with Bioassays, Biophysics, Structural Biology, and Data Science to drive program decisions.
