About the Opportunity: Our client is a prestigious law firm in Chicago seeking an Executive Assistant to support a top partner. This is a highly visible position for someone who takes pride in anticipating needs, bringing structure to busy schedules, and helping senior leaders perform at their best. You will be a trusted resource for the partners you support, managing day-to-day priorities and helping keep their practices running smoothly. The right person brings sound judgment, strong attention to detail, and the confidence to navigate a demanding professional environment.
Key Responsibilities: Manage complex calendars, coordinate meetings, and help partners prioritize competing commitments. Anticipate needs, prepare for upcoming deadlines, and proactively address scheduling or logistical challenges. Coordinate travel arrangements, itineraries, and related expenses. Serve as a professional point of contact for clients, internal teams, and external contacts. Prepare and proofread correspondence, presentations, and meeting materials with accuracy and discretion. Track action items and follow up to keep commitments and projects moving forward. Partner with administrative and operational teams to coordinate support across the firm. Handle confidential information with professionalism and care. Support special projects and other administrative needs as they arise.
Qualifications: Prior experience as an Executive Assistant or in a comparable role supporting partners, executives, or other senior leaders. Experience within a professional services organization, such as a law firm, consulting firm, accounting firm, or financial services business. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal oversight. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a polished, client-facing presence. Strong judgment, discretion, and attention to detail. A proactive approach and the ability to anticipate needs and adapt as priorities change. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point. Ability to work fully onsite in Chicago. Prior law firm experience is valued but is not required. Compensation and Opportunity The base salary range is $80,000–$100,000, depending on experience and qualifications. This is an opportunity to work closely with partners at a respected law firm and make a meaningful contribution to their daily effectiveness and the firm’s operations.
