About the role
Tax Manager Arlington, VA | $130,000-$150,000 + Bonus Our client, a private investment and holding company with billions in assets under management, is seeking a Tax Manager to join its growing team in Arlington, VA (5 days/week in the office).This is a highly visible role supporting a diverse portfolio of family office holdings, real estate investments, and operating businesses. The Tax Manager will serve as the organization's internal tax resource, partnering with outside advisors while reviewing and managing partnership, corporate, and multi-state tax matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and oversee federal and state tax filings, including Forms 1065 and 1120 Manage partnership, pass-through, corporate, and multi-state tax compliance Coordinate with external tax advisors and accounting firms Support tax planning initiatives and identify tax-saving opportunities Provide tax guidance on real estate holdings, ownership structures, and business operations
Qualifications:
5+ years of tax experience in public accounting and/or industry Strong knowledge of partnership, pass-through, and multi-state taxation Experience reviewing and preparing partnership and corporate tax returnsCPA preferred but not required This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to step into a hands-on role with broad exposure, direct access to leadership, strong work-life balance (averaging around 45 hours per week), and long-term growth potential within a successful and expanding organization.
