Do you love solving complex machining puzzles? Imagine stepping onto second shift at Toolcraft Machining in Germantown, WI, facing a cart of challenging, low‑quantity parts. Your challenge Own setups and operation across multi‑axis mill/turns (DMG MORI with Siemens), CNC lathes, CNC boring bars, and vertical machining centers, frequently using live tooling. Switch confidently among platforms including Doosan PUMA 1214, Toshiba 150, and Toshiba 200. Decode blueprints, drawings, and models to determine tolerances, sequences, and setup needs. Engineer workholding with setup blocks, fixtures, and clamps for safe, precise machining. Load programs or enter commands at the control; refine speeds, feeds, depths, and angles as conditions change. Manage tool life and inserts; make hands‑on adjustments to keep features within .002\" or tighter per GD&T. Verify results with precision hand metrology and advanced gauges. Leave the cell clean, organized, and ready for the next run. What it takes 5+ years of CNC machining experience, including full setups on relevant machining centers. Strong command of GD&T, blueprint reading, and G‑Code. Comfort lifting up to 50 pounds. What sets you apart Mastercam programming and edit skills.
