About the role
Neuroscientist The Neuroscientist is a senior-level and highly experienced postdoctoral research scientist responsible for designing, executing, and overseeing advanced neuroscience studies. This role drives scientific innovation, contributes to strategic research direction, and translates findings into meaningful clinical outcomes, particularly for Nemours' pediatric patient population. Will strengthen research and translational work in all neurological disorders including epilepsy, epilepsy surgery, neuroimmunology, spasticity and cerebral palsy, neuro-oncology, neuromuscular disorders, fetal neurology, and collaboration in complex neurosurgery. The Neuroscientist provides technical leadership, mentors junior team members, and collaborates cross-functionally to advance the organization's neuroscience initiatives. This role will seek funding opportunities to apply for external grants, collaborate with investigators within the division to write research proposals and protocol design. It is expected for this role to implement and establish the Neurology research program that will be supported from various funding sources. The neuroscientist will execute essential tasks and work collaboratively with partners to gain institutional reputation and benchmarking with the U.S. News and World Report.

Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
