Head of Security & Data Governance

The Opportunity: This is a critical leadership role responsible for protecting our business, customers and platform while enabling continued innovation and growth. You'll lead security, governance and compliance initiatives across the organisation, ensuring we maintain the highest standards of data protection and regulatory compliance. You'll be comfortable balancing risk and commercial objectives, understanding where regulatory boundaries are non-negotiable and where pragmatic solutions can be applied. Working closely with Product, Engineering, Data, Legal and Commercial teams, you'll embed security and governance best practices while supporting customer facing discussions around security, compliance and data capabilities.

The Role: Define and execute Cell Point Digital's security, compliance and governance strategy. Lead risk management, security controls and governance frameworks. Ensure compliance with industry standards and payment security requirements. Drive data governance and data quality initiatives across the business. Partner with senior stakeholders to provide pragmatic risk and compliance guidance. Support customer and prospect engagements involving security and governance requirements. Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to embed security by design principales. Lead audits, assessments and regulatory reviews.

What We're Looking For: Strong background in Information Security, Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), Data Governance or Information Risk. Experience within payments, fintech, financial services or another regulated industry. Knowledge of security frameworks, regulatory compliance and risk management. Strong understanding of data governance, data quality and information management principles. Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical business solutions. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Commercial mindset with the ability to balance security, compliance and business objectives.
