This is a first-shift role, working Monday through Friday from 5:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
Job Summary: The Production Sanitation position involves maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of manufacturing and processing areas during production schedules. This includes proper disposal of trash, sit down forklift and cardboard materials.
Key Responsibilities: Ensure continuous cleanliness and proper maintenance of manufacturing and processing floors. Perform sanitation tasks efficiently and in accordance with company standards. Complete required documentation accurately and honestly. Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Food Safety policies. Adhere to allergen control programs and procedures. Report any suspicious packages, activities, or individuals to management.
Physical Demands: Must be able to stand for extended periods, use hands to handle objects, and reach with arms. Regularly required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Occasionally required to walk, communicate, and hear. Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements include close vision.
Work Environment: Work may involve exposure to wet or humid conditions, temperature fluctuations, fumes, airborne particles, and occasional contact with chemicals classified as toxic or caustic. The noise level is generally moderate.
