Role Description: We are looking for a results-driven, proactive sales professional with a strong understanding of the travel and airline industry and a proven track record of growing business. Based in New York, this position will focus on developing and managing strategic national accounts across the U.S. travel industry, while identifying new opportunities to expand our commercial reach and strengthen our market presence. This is a highly commercial and relationship-driven role for a sales professional who knows the U.S. travel landscape, understands key industry players, distribution channels and competitive dynamics, and is confident using data and sales performance metrics to drive results.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Business, Marketing, Tourism, Aviation, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience in the airline, travel, tourism, or hospitality industry. Proven track record of sales growth, business development, and strategic account management. Established relationships and a strong network within the U.S. travel industry. Strong understanding of airline distribution channels, including GDS, OTAs, tour operators, wholesalers, and NDC.Experience working with airline sales, reporting, and analytics systems. Experience with NDC platforms is a plus. Strong understanding of the U.S. travel market, competitive landscape, key industry players, and market trends. Demonstrated ability to use data and market intelligence to identify commercial opportunities and drive sales performance. Excellent negotiation, presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills. Strong business development mindset, with the ability to prospect, convert, develop, and grow accounts. Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in a remote and field-based environment. Willingness and ability to travel frequently within the U.S. and internationally. Multilingual skills, particularly French and Spanish, are a plus. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
