Plant Site Manager Location: Fond du Lac, WI Work Model: Onsite Position Type: Full-Time Relocation: Available The Plant Site Manager is responsible for overseeing overall plant operations, ensuring performance across safety, quality, cost, productivity, and reliability. This role requires strong leadership, operational expertise, and the ability to build high-performing teams within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities: Lead plant operations focusing on safety, cost, quality, uptime, and efficiency Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety regulations Drive production targets, quality standards, and on-time delivery Develop and execute short- and long-term operational strategies Manage departments including production, quality, maintenance, shipping, and scheduling Build, mentor, and lead high-performing teams Optimize plant processes to become a low-cost, high-efficiency producer Manage plant assets and align operations with strategic business goals Collaborate with leadership and other facilities for operational alignment Must-Have Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's preferred but not mandatory) 6+ years of production/plant management experience Strong experience in manufacturing operations (paper/packaging preferred) Proven leadership in managing teams in a high-speed manufacturing environment Strong operational and process improvement experience Required Skills Deep understanding of manufacturing processes (corrugating & converting equipment preferred) Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills Ability to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Experience managing multiple departments and priorities Strong communication and interpersonal skills Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills Experience in paper, packaging, or container manufacturing industry Exposure to large-scale manufacturing environments Strong background in lean manufacturing and process optimization Core Competencies Leadership and team building Strategic thinking and execution Operational excellence and efficiency Performance management and accountability Problem-solving and decision-making Education High School Diploma (Required) Bachelor's Degree (Preferred) Additional Notes Role requires strong hands-on leadership and plant operations experience Ideal candidate should have experience in paper/packaging manufacturing environments Focus on building a safe, efficient, and high-performing plant culture
