Skurnik Wines & Spirits is seeking a highly motivated and organized North Bay-based Spirits Specialist to join our team in California. This role is ideal for someone with strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for spirits and hospitality. The Spirits Specialist will be responsible for supporting sales efforts and maximizing the distribution and visibility of Skurnik Spirits brands across both on-premise and off-premise accounts throughout Sonoma, Napa, Sacramento, and the Sierra Foothills including Tahoe.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Support sales representatives in promoting and selling spirits brandsDeliver spirits samples to accountsExecute in-store tastingsSchedule and lead consumer events in partnership with on and off premise accountsParticipate in supplier and market work with brand and sales managersAssist with research and development for high-touch cocktail programsProvide portfolio education to sales representatives and customersConduct staff trainings at account locationsManage account relationships through regular in-person visits and virtual communicationAct as a conduit for the spirits portfolio by communicating messaging, updates and priorities effectively with sales representativesParticipate in monthly company sales meetings and spirits eventsComplete sales initiatives, goals, and incentive programsTrack and report on sales activity; analyze data to support decision-makingQUALIFICATIONS:Minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in one or more of the following: Alcohol beverage salesHospitality or bar programsCulinary or tasting room environmentsSupplier or wholesale distributionStrong cocktail knowledge and a genuine passion for hospitalityExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsHighly organized with strong problem-solving abilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Outlook) Must be based in Sonoma, Napa or SacramentoCOMPENSATION:Based on experience: $75K-85KJob category: Sales and Marketing
