About the role
Our client is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented professional to join its Alternative Investment Client Services Administrator Oversight team. This individual will work closely with fund administrators, portfolio managers, and sales teams to oversee investor transactions, coordinate servicing activities, and deliver a strong client experience. The team sits within Shareholder Services, a global service organization supporting shareholders and the distribution of investment products. The Administrator Oversight team manages fund administrator relationships, reports transaction flows to portfolio managers, and oversees fund-related transaction processing.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee investor transactions across private equity and hedge fund vehicles, ensuring accurate trade-flow reporting to portfolio managers. Evaluate trade waiver and correction requests submitted by sales teams. Oversee the facilitation of investor trade settlements. Support oversight of vendor relationships, including fund administrators and transfer agents. Coordinate the resolution of product servicing issues and operational errors. Identify and implement process improvements and enhancements. Strengthen internal controls across accounting and operational processes. Improve the collection, distribution, and maintenance of product data attributes. Lead ad hoc projects within Shareholder Services.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Sound judgment and the ability to think clearly under pressure. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to investigate issues and develop effective solutions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Collaborative approach, with the ability to share information and coordinate effectively with colleagues. Initiative, accountability, and a commitment to professional development.
Preferred Qualifications:
1–3 years of experience in financial services. Knowledge of the alternative investment industry.
