About the role
A Series B-backed AI company ($60M raised, backed by Google & NVIDIA) is hiring their first dedicated AE for a new vertical — and this seat is for the builders. Their product deploys AI Teammates that live and operate inside the ERPs and systems clients already use — automating the manual operational workflows that cost physical goods companies margin every day. No rip-and-replace. No new system to learn. Just AI doing the work inside the tools already in place. Who they're hiring: They're open to the right AE — which looks like one of three profiles: Supply chain / logistics background (still preferred) — freight, 3PL, distribution, manufacturing, WMS/TMS. You know the buyers and the language. SaaS or AI product AE — you've sold agentic AI, workflow automation, ERP-adjacent software, or any technical product that operates inside enterprise systems. Complex deals, executive buyers, real quota attainment. Adjacent vertical AE — construction, industrial, fleet, operational tech, or anything in the physical-world operations space. You understand how these buyers think and move. What they're looking for across all three: Consistent 100%+ quota attainment in enterprise AE rolesVP and C-suite buyer experience — you've closed deals that needed executive sign-off Multi-stakeholder, multi-month deal cycles with meaningful ACV ($100K+)Genuine AI curiosity — not a buzzword, you need to hold a credible conversation with a skeptical ops buyer Builder mentality — no playbook, no inherited pipeline, full ownership What's on the table:$100K–$140K base | 100% OTE, uncapped | Accelerators above quota | Equity (discussed upon offer)5 days on-site in NYCSignificant travel — company-paid Relocation assistance available Full-time benefits This is for a new vertical inside a company that already has 10+ AEs and a proven product. You're not building from nothing — you're opening a new vertical in a machine that works. If this sounds like your environment, let's talk.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
