AutoCAD Detailer/Project Manager

Job Description: Job Description Produce and revise precise detailed AutoCAD drawings. This includes detailing and designing Architectural railings and other fabricated materials. Must complete a full set of drawings which include RFI's, site plans, elevations, sections and details of assigned project including shop assembly drawings upon field verification. Minimum 5 year Experience. Detail commercial and public projects as it pertains to scope of Architectural Railings Must adhere to Craneveyor's Safety Standards Must work well with supervisors and project managers to submit, review and approve all detailing complex projects. Communicate with the Fabrication Manager/Foreman and Production Managers on the scope of projects including design details, dimensioning, assemblies along with material stock and procurement. Discuss any obstacles pertaining to client specifications with Production Manager. Must be able to draw in AutoCAD (Solid works/3D is a plus but not required) Provide updates on the status of Work Orders Track multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Maintain protocols for secured graphic projects Create Assembly drawings Create Client model rendering drawingsCOMPETENCIES:• AutoCAD 2D & 3D, Solid Works, Layout and detailing• Keen sense of urgency• Common Sense• Problem solving in mathematical calculations• Must be able to communicate and visualize designs in 3D• Basic understanding of metal fabrication• Energized and ready to grow with an outstanding organization• Meticulous attention to detail, effective planning, and organizational skills• Exceptionally time conscious• Understand the basics of industrial Safety, health and environmental impacts that proactively affect the Production staff• Must have strong people skills, and the ability to motivate and promote teamwork• Ability to plan and implement improvements• Ability to identify and anticipate production and operation needs.• Ability to resolve problems, document all issues and put best practices in place to prevent future problems• Firm grasp of computer/graphics/AutoCAD/3D terminology• Understands drawing standards, drawing views and best practices• Basics of industrial Safety, health and environmental. Avoid injuries and must ask for help from other suitable employees when lifting heavy objects over 50 lbs. and/or larger dimensions in assess of 47 inches or more. Using proper lifting techniques and proper lifting equipment. SOFTWARE REQUIRMENT:AutoCAD, Solid Works, Microsoft Office, Outlook, Adobe Photoshop/illustrator (preferable but not required)
