Location:
Winton, CAPosition: Production Supervisor Summary of Functions Lead effective daily operations and develop a highly skilled plant operations team. Support the departmental goals of efficiency, high yields, quality production, and equipment operation.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Directly manage operational employees through functional leads, establishing daily objectives Own all frontline employee responsibilities, including hiring, performance reviews, rewards, and discipline Manage daily processes, including: Establishing operational procedures (SOPs)Setting workload requirements, work schedules, and task-level assignments Identifying training needs and certification requirements Ensure safe operations at all times Maintain composure in stressful situations, make sound decisions, and escalate to the management team as needed Motivate employees toward higher achievement Treat all employees fairly and with consistency Support the development of a process improvement program Manage to KPI standards established by the Operations Manager Recognize trends and indicators and react proactively to address potential problems Ensure employees maintain industry guidelines for GMPsProficiency in English required; Spanish language skills preferred Computer proficient Food Safety Requirements/
Responsibilities:
Comply with all plant, state, and federal OSHA, EPA, FDA, HACCP, and SQF regulations Comply with GMPs in the plant Assist in the maintenance of the food safety and quality system
Qualifications:
H.S Diploma or GEDSupervisory experience Experience in food manufacturing; high-volume liquid processing, beverage, or related wet-process environments strongly preferred
