Start Date: 10/02/2026 Registered Nurse (RN) – ENDOAn Endoscopy Registered Nurse provides care for patients undergoing gastrointestinal procedures such as colonoscopies and endoscopies. This role involves patient preparation, sedation administration, and close observation during procedures.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare endoscopy suite and ensure proper functioning of equipment. Assist the physician during procedures, handling scopes and instruments. Monitor patient vital signs and sedation levels, intervening as needed. Provide pre- and post-procedure education regarding recovery and follow-up. Maintain sterile technique and strict infection control protocols.
Work Environment: Primarily in endoscopy or GI labs within hospitals or outpatient clinics. Often involves scheduled procedures but may include emergent cases. Focuses on patient comfort, safety, and education.
