Now Hiring: Plastic Injection Mold Engineer📍 Mauston, WIMauston Tool is expanding its capabilities and ability to serve a larger market in the plastic injection mold building industry. We’re looking for an experienced Engineer to join our dedicated and progressive team.
Responsibilities:
The Engineer is responsible for managing tooling projects for new products from conception through production start. This position is also responsible for all repairs and changes to existing tooling, while staying up to date on new tooling technologies and recommending improvements to tooling capability, efficiency, and cost.• Attend and contribute to staff and facility meetings• Train and guide fellow employees as needed• Quote and schedule jobs while coordinating between mold shop management and customers• Conduct job meetings for assigned projects• Communicate regularly with customers• Assist in mold design and electrode design as required• Communicate with moldmakers to ensure projects remain on schedule Qualifications – Education and Experience:• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Plastics preferred, or equivalent experience• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a directly related field Qualifications – Skills and Competencies:• Strong character and sound judgment when addressing challenges and problem-solving• Demonstrate and promote a culture of continuous improvement• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously• Strong verbal and written communication skills• Strong teamwork and organizational skills• Understanding of injection mold design• Understanding of manufacturing, machining, and toolmaking processes• Knowledge of injection molds• Proficiency in Solid Works and Microsoft Office products
