Role Description:
The Human Resources Manager and Office Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Great Neck, NY. This role oversees day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle management. The Human Resources Manager will manage HR policies and procedures, administer benefits and payroll coordination with internal stakeholders, and ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations. The role includes supporting performance management processes, handling employee relations matters, and promoting a positive, inclusive workplace culture. The Human Resources Manager will also collaborate with leadership on workforce planning, training initiatives, and HR data reporting to support organizational goals. Additionally this role will be an office manager and answer phone calls for the company and do adhoc tasks for the CEO.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in core HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and benefits administration.
Strong knowledge of HR policies, employment law, and compliance requirements, particularly at the federal, state, and local levels.
Proficiency with HRIS and related HR tools, along with the ability to manage HR data, reporting, and documentation accurately.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to build trust and support team members at all levels.
Solid organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience developing or supporting training, engagement, and culture-building initiatives is highly beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification (such as SHRM-CP or PHR) is a plus.
Prior HR management experience in financial services, lending, or a small to mid-sized business environment is advantageous.
Experience with Bamboo HR and ADPSalary OTE is is 80,000 to 110,000 with room for upside.
