About the role
Overview
In this role you will drive enterprise-wide strategic initiatives and assess acquisitions to support long-term value creation. You will partner with the Head of the Office of the CEO to align priorities, orchestrate governance routines, and enable the CEO to operate at scale. You will manage cross-functional workstreams, prepare executive materials, and influence board and ELT discussions. This is a high-impact, leadership-focused position at Everest, rooted in a culture of execution, collaboration, and rigorous strategic thinking.

Responsibilities Lead end-to-end execution of high-priority CEO-level initiatives with milestones, risks, and dependencies Synthesize insights and prepare recommendations for CEO decision-making in collaboration with the Head of the Office of the CEOSupport materials and preparation for GEM, ELT, and Board meetings; ensure analytical rigor and clarity Evaluate acquisition/divestiture opportunities and oversee strategic analyses and executive materials Oversee analytical workstreams for strategic planning, competitive landscape, and long-term strategy development Coordinate with leaders to track follow-up actions and ensure accountability and timely completion Lead enterprise governance routines, including strategic planning cadences and quarterly reviews Collaborate with Marketing/Communications and Investor Relations to align CEO messaging with strategy Prepare CEO briefing dossiers and stakeholder materials for internal and external engagements Provide day-to-day leadership to Office of the CEO staff to maintain clarity, agility, and cohesive delivery
Key requirements Senior strategic, enterprise-level experience in consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, corporate development, or advisory Strong strategic thinking and structured problem-solving with ability to translate ambiguity into clear recommendations Advanced analytical skills with knowledge of valuation and insurance-related financials Experience leading teams to define workstreams and deliver outcomes across functions Deep understanding of Commercial Property & Casualty insurance or ability to rapidly acquire domain expertise Excellent executive communication, storytelling, and ability to influence senior stakeholders Proven cross-functional operator with a track record of aligning senior leaders and delivering on high-stakes commitments Organized, disciplined, deadline-driven, and able to manage multiple CEO-level priorities Strategic storytelling Cross-functional collaboration Proactive and curious mindset Strategic analysis and synthesis Financial analysis and valuation understanding within insurance context Governance and program management of executive-level initiatives
