Trust & Estates Tax Principal – Private ClientNew York, NY | Hybrid | $200K–$500KTrusts & Estates | HNW / UHNW | Private Client Leadership A leading New York CPA firm is looking for an experienced Trust & Estates Tax Principal to lead a specialist team within its Private Client practice. This is a senior technical and client-facing position working with high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families, trusts and estates. The successful individual will combine deep Trust & Estates tax expertise with leadership, client advisory and business development capability.
The opportunity:
  • Lead the Trust & Estates tax team
  • Oversee complex 706, 709 and 1041 work
  • Advise HNW and UHNW families on estate and wealth-transfer matters
  • Provide guidance on complex trust and fiduciary structures
  • Advise on philanthropy, family-office and investment-related tax matters
  • Build long-term relationships with families and external advisors
  • Mentor and develop senior tax professionals
  • Lead networking and business-development activity
  • Help expand an established Private Client practice
  • What they are looking for 15+ years of Trust & Estates tax experienceCPA, EA or Law License
  • Significant leadership experience
  • Deep knowledge of estate, gift and fiduciary taxationHNW / UHNW private-client background
  • Strong client-advisory capability
  • Experience developing relationships and generating business
Location: New York, NY – Hybrid
Compensation: $200K–$500K depending on experience and level
