We have a monthly Military & Veterans Food Distribution each month serving over 100 at-risk Military and Veterans with food items. Do you have a Logistic Brain? Job Duties for Food Distribution Traffic Team Coordinator: Traffic Management Oversee the flow of vehicles during food distribution events. Ensure smooth and safe traffic operations. Ensure all of the registered attendees are signed in and served. Volunteer Coordination Recruit, train, and supervise traffic team volunteers. Schedule and assign tasks to traffic team volunteers. Safety Enforcement Implement and enforce safety protocols for vehicles and pedestrians. Provide safety training to traffic team volunteers and participants. Communication Serve as the point of contact for traffic-related inquiries. Coordinate with distribution site volunteers. Planning and SetupAssist in planning traffic logistics for distribution events. Set up traffic cones, signs, and barriers or coordinate with your volunteer team to execute. Problem-Solving Address traffic issues and resolve conflicts on-site. Adapt plans as needed to ensure efficient traffic flow. Record Keeping Ensure all records of attendees for the event are updated and given to Soldiers' AngelsReport on traffic management outcomes and areas for improvement. Time Commitment: 5-10 hours a month. Must be available on the 4th Friday of each month. 7:30 am-1:00 pm. Some Fridays will vary due to holidays and other scheduling conflicts.
