Job TitleJOB SUMMARY: ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSOperates computer terminal to input patient information, vehicle status, and crew assignments. Gathers and records information related to the level of care actually required during transfer (based on patient's medical condition).Dispatches appropriate resources to complete patient transfers in the most cost-effective manner that ensures appropriate level of care en route. Collects information related to vehicle maintenance, repair costs, outside vendor utilization, and other operational statistical data as required.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Current certification as an Emergency Medical Technician - Basic by the Texas Department of Health. Salary is commensurate with years of relevant work experience.
