Inside Commercial Property Claims Adjuster
Location: Hybrid/Remote (Training Onsite as Needed)
About the Opportunity: We are seeking an experienced Inside Commercial Property Claims Adjuster to join a growing claims team. This role is responsible for investigating, evaluating, negotiating, and resolving commercial property claims while providing exceptional service to policyholders, agents, and business partners. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial property claims experience, proficiency with Xactimate, and an active adjuster license.
Responsibilities: Manage commercial property claims from first notice of loss through final resolution. Investigate coverage, liability, and damages. Review estimates, invoices, reports, and supporting documentation. Prepare and review damage estimates using Xactimate. Negotiate settlements within authority limits. Communicate regularly with insureds, contractors, vendors, agents, and attorneys. Maintain accurate claim file documentation and ensure compliance with company and regulatory guidelines. Meet productivity, quality, and customer service expectations.
Qualifications: Required Active Property & Casualty Adjuster License (or designated home state license).3+ years of commercial property claims adjusting experience. Strong experience utilizing Xactimate. Experience handling moderate to complex commercial property claims. Knowledge of policy interpretation, coverage analysis, and claim investigation. Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. Preferred Experience with large loss or catastrophe claims. Industry certifications such as AIC, CPCU, or SCLA.Experience working for an insurance carrier, TPA, or independent adjusting firm.
