About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a Senior International Trader to join a global platform currently undergoing a significant phase of expansion and professionalization. This role plays a strategic part in the international origination and trading of animal protein, leading high-value negotiations, driving market expansion, and developing sustainable commercial relationships, thereby directly contributing to the operation's growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Assume the role of Senior International Trader with full responsibility for the origination and sale of animal protein;
Develop and execute strategies to expand and diversify the supplier base and buyer markets;
Build and manage a high-quality, scalable, and recurring commercial pipeline;
Conduct complex negotiations and end-to-end international operations;
Structure pricing, contracts, risk management, credit, logistics, and commercial execution;
Develop and strengthen relationships with strategic suppliers and international clients;
Utilize market intelligence to monitor scenarios, trends, risks, competition, and opportunities;
Generate analyses and insights to support leadership decision-making;
Work collaboratively with operations, quality, finance, and compliance teams;
Ensure governance, predictability, and risk mitigation across operations;
Contribute to the evolution of commercial processes, performance indicators, and best practices within the department.
Requirements:
Solid, proven experience as an International Trader in the animal protein sector;
Consistent track record in international origination and trading;
Ability to conduct strategic negotiations with high-level stakeholders;
Mastery of foreign trade and the structuring of international operations;
Advanced knowledge of Incoterms, international contracts, logistics, documentation, payments, credit, and risk management;
Strong commercial, strategic, and financial acumen;
Results-oriented mindset with autonomy and a strong sense of ownership; Fluent English (mandatory);
Fluent Spanish (mandatory);
Availability to travel.
Employment Model and Benefits Contractor (B2B) arrangement;
Executive compensation package commensurate with the seniority of the role (fixed + variable);
