About the role
This confidential search is being conducted on behalf of a mission-driven Tulsa-Area nonprofit organization entering an exciting period of strategic growth. The organization is seeking aChief Strategy & Development Officerto help shape long-range strategy, strengthen development systems, and support executive leadership in advancing organizational impact. The CSDO is a mission-focused executive leader and member of the Executive Leadership Team responsible for advancing the organization's mission, growth, and long-term sustainability. Serving as a trusted advisor to the CEO and strategic partner to executive leadership, the CSDO leads enterprise-wide strategic planning, business development, community engagement, innovation initiatives, funding diversification, legislative affairs, and organizational growth efforts.
As the organization's strategic integrator, the CSDO translates vision into action by aligning strategic priorities with operational execution and measurable outcomes. Working collaboratively with the CEO, Board of Directors, executive leaders, government agencies, managed care organizations, funders, and community partners, this role identifies opportunities for expansion, strengthens partnerships, secures resources, enhances organizational sustainability, and ensures the successful implementation of high-impact initiatives that benefit the individuals and communities served. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education Bachelor's degree in: Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Administration, Behavioral Health Administration, Social Work, Public Health, Related Field
Experience:
Minimum 7 years of progressively responsible leadership experience. Minimum 5 years in healthcare, behavioral health, nonprofit, community health, or related settings. Demonstrated experience leading complex organizational initiatives. Experience with strategic planning and implementation. Experience managing partnerships and stakeholder relationships. Experience with grants, contracts, funding development, or business development.
