Join our family-run avocado ranch.6060 La Goleta Road is a family-owned avocado ranch with on-site rental homes, and we're hiring a Contract Administrator to run our ranch office. You'll be the hub that connects vendors, contractors, renters, and our offsite family real estate office. No farming experience needed. We'll train the right person.
Pay: $25–$32/hour, DOEWhat you'll do Be the main contact for vendors and contractors: answer questions, get quotes, and follow up on work Partner with our offsite family real estate office and team as the ranch's on-site point person Coordinate repairs and projects with our outside real estate project manager Support on-site renters with maintenance requests and communication Handle light bookkeeping: entering bills, tracking rent, and organizing records (Quick Books Online a plus)Keep the office running: mail, scanning, filing, and general admin
What we're looking for: Highly organized, with great follow-through Friendly, clear communicator by phone, email, and in person Comfortable with computers, email, and spreadsheets Trustworthy and discreet with confidential information Able to work independently and collaborate with a remote team Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
