About the role

Hiring: Plant Engineering Manager | Harrisburg, NCWe’re looking for an experienced Plant Engineering / Maintenance Leader to take ownership of engineering, maintenance, facilities, capital projects, safety, and environmental initiatives at a 24/7 manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows how to keep production running, improve equipment reliability, lead maintenance teams, and drive major plant improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities: • Lead engineering and maintenance activities across the facility• Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs• Drive equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime• Lead capital projects from concept through commissioning• Oversee new equipment installation, startup, and validation• Manage facility systems, utilities, and mobile equipment• Support environmental compliance and plant safety initiatives• Lead, coach, and develop the maintenance team• Manage vendors, contractors, budgets, and maintenance expenditures• Identify cost-saving and continuous improvement opportunities
What We’re Looking For: • 10+ years of engineering or maintenance leadership experience in manufacturing• Experience leading maintenance teams• Strong background in equipment reliability and preventive maintenance• Proven experience managing capital projects and equipment installations• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting knowledge• Experience with facility management and/or mobile equipment• CMMS experience preferred• Lean Manufacturing / Continuous Improvement experience preferred• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred
