About the role
Technical Documentation & CAD Specialist On-Site in Charlotte, NCWe’re seeking a detail-oriented Technical Documentation & CAD Specialist to support an engineering team with technical documentation, CAD drawings, and document control.
What You’ll Do:
Create and maintain technical manuals, operating instructions, maintenance guides, and engineering documentation. Assist engineers with Solid Works part and assembly drawings. Update CAD models, drawings, BOMs, and documentation for engineering changes. Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and documentation templates. Support ISO 9001 documentation and audit preparation. Maintain document revisions, electronic archives, and controlled records. Partner with engineering teams to ensure technical information is accurate and up to date.
What We’re Looking For:
Associate degree in Engineering, Technical Communication, or related field, or equivalent experience. Solid Works or similar CAD experience required. Ability to read mechanical and assembly drawings and BOMs. Strong technical writing, communication, and organizational skills. Experience with Adobe Acrobat, SAP, and Microsoft Office preferred. Manufacturing or engineering environment experience is a plus.
