The role involves strategic engagement with end users, engineering consultants, EPC contractors, and key industrial accounts to drive product approvals, technology adoption, and sales growth across India.Sales & Business DevelopmentDrive penetration and market share growth in the Construction & Industrial segment.Achieve assigned sales targets and revenue quotas.Develop and execute territory and account growth strategies.Identify and develop new business opportunities across defined verticals.Key Account ManagementBuild and manage relationships with:End UsersEngineering ConsultantsElectrical ContractorsEPC (Engineering Procurement Construction) CompaniesDevelop strategic account plans for key accounts across India.Increase wallet share within existing accounts.Product Approval & Technical EngagementDrive product approvals and specification inclusion with consultants and end users.Support trials, technical demonstrations, and proof-of-concept initiatives.Work closely with Application Engineering and Technical Teams for solution selling.Pipeline & CRM ManagementManage sales funnel using CRM tools.Maintain accurate forecasting and opportunity tracking.Ensure timely reporting and pipeline hygiene.Cross-Functional CollaborationPartner with Sales, Marketing, and Application Engineering teams.Support new product launches and technology adoption initiatives.Operate effectively in a matrix organization.Required QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (mandatory).Minimum 10 years of Sales / Business Development experience.Proven experience in Construction and Industrial market segments.Experience in CRM systems and pipeline management.Strong techno-commercial acumen.Willingness to travel up to 50%.Preferred Candidates:Industry exposure in:Power GenerationMetals & MiningOil & Gas / PetrochemicalsRail & MetroAirportsData CentersRenewable Energy (Solar & Wind)Knowledge of:Electrical Cable AccessoriesProduct approval processes with consultants and end usersLarge key account managementChannel partner managementMatrix organization structures
