We are seeking a highly motivated Sequencing Specialist with expertise in 10x single cell/Multiomics/Spatial pipelines, epigenetics, Mass Spec/Proteomics, and Microbiology. This role offers an excellent opportunity to blend technical product specialization responsibilities with hands-on project management. You will support pre-sales discussions, troubleshoot technical issues, and manage the end-to-end administrative logistics of client projects. This is an ideal role for an experienced genomics industry professional, or a bench scientist looking to step into a commercial, operational, and project management career path.
Job Responsibilities: Provide technical NGS consultation with a primary focus on 10x single-cell/Multiomics/Spatial pipelines, epigenetics, Mass Spec & Proteomics, and Microbial services. Act as the primary technical and administrative point of contact for clients, seamlessly bridging pre-sales consultation, project initiation, and mid-sales communication. Manage end-to-end project coordination and logistics, tracking projects through the entire pipeline to ensure turnaround times (TATs) are met for an optimal customer experience. Use technical expertise to troubleshoot experimental issues in complex single-cell projects and propose solutions. Assist Sales in account management by supporting client interactions, guiding study design, and handling necessary follow-ups and administrative pipeline tracking. Provide technical consultation and training to internal staff and clients, and contribute to SOPs, technical protocols, and process optimization. This is a salaried, exempt remote position. While core hours apply, it requires reasonable flexibility to overlap with multi-regional global teams as needed. The role is 90% administrative, desk-based specialist/project management and consultation, with up to 5% travel for industry conferences and 5% presenting on technical company webinars.
Qualifications: Master’s degree in Molecular Biology, Genomics, Biotechnology, or a related field. Work experience in the commercial Life Sciences industry (e.g., project management, technical support, or field application science) is highly preferred. Hands-on experience with 10x single-cell/Multiomics/Spatial pipelines, epigenetics, Mass Spec & Proteomics, and Microbial platforms preferred. Ambitious, willing to learn, and driven to contribute to the company's growth. Strong attention to detail with the ability to communicate complex information efficiently and accurately. Ability to multitask and handle administrative pipeline logistics in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment. Fluent in English, spoken and written.
