Director of Paid Social: $100-125k annual We are seeking a hungry, high-growth Director of Paid Social to join our team and lead our paid social department. This is a pivotal role for a someone who moves fast, wants to work on the cutting edge of paid media and AI and knows how to talk to clients. As a growing agency, we are looking for a leader who can bridge the gap between high-level creative strategy and technical execution, ensuring our clients stay ahead of the curve in an evolving social landscape. This role will have some execution along with client presentations.
Please Note: At least 4+ years of hands-on agency experience is a mandatory requirement. Candidates without prior agency experience will not be considered. You also must have attention to detail. This is a unique opportunity for a driven professional to take over the department, refine our processes, and grow alongside the agency. The ideal candidate possesses a "test-and-learn" mindset, deep analytical rigor, and the communication skills to interface confidently with clients while driving measurable ROI.
Key Responsibilities: Department Leadership: Act as the primary owner for the Paid Social department. You will be responsible for strategy, execution, and performance across all social accounts, with a focus on scaling the department's capabilities. Creative Strategy: Lead the charge on social-first creative strategy. You will collaborate with creative teams to develop high-performing assets based on data-driven insights and performance trends. Full-Funnel Execution: Plan, launch, and optimize complex paid social campaigns across Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, Reddit, and other emerging platforms, focusing on ROAS, CPA, and conversion growth. Client Interfacing: Serve as the paid social expert, confidently presenting strategy decks, sharing performance insights, and cultivating strong relationships with stakeholders. Performance & Innovation: Implement advanced testing frameworks for audiences, creative, and bidding strategies to ensure accounts consistently hit aggressive targets. Reporting & Analysis: Compile granular data to generate regular performance reports. Provide deep-dive insights and actionable recommendations that focus on the "why" behind the numbers.
Qualifications
Experience: 4+ years of hands-on agency experience managing complex, high-performing paid social campaigns across multiple industries.
Skills: Analytical Rigor: Exceptional quantitative skills with the ability to translate complex social data into clear business strategies. Creative Vision: A deep understanding of what makes social creative "stop the scroll" and convert. Communication: Amazing presentation and client communication skills are essential; you must be able to explain complex strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Tech Stack: Proficiency in Ads Manager (Meta/TikTok), Google Sheets/Excel, and 3rd party attribution tools like Triple Whale, Wicked Report, etc. Attributes: A proactive, "can-do" attitude with the drive to take ownership of a growing department in a fully remote environment. Attention to detail is a must.
Bonus Points: (Nice to Haves)AI Creative Development: Experience utilizing AI tools to streamline creative production or develop high-performing ad assets. Multi-Channel Knowledge: A baseline understanding of how Paid Social integrates with SEO and Paid Search. Growth Mindset: Experience helping an agency scale its internal operations or service offerings.
