We're looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to help drive innovation, efficiency, and manufacturing excellence. What You'll Do: Develop and optimize CNC machining processes for complex titanium aerospace components. Create 3D models and CAD/CAM programs using simulation software to ensure efficient, accurate, and cost-effective manufacturing. Review product designs and specifications for manufacturability, quality, and compliance with customer requirements. Partner with machining teams to develop tooling and fixturing solutions that support production goals and project timelines. Support customer quoting activities through process planning and manufacturing expertise. Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities that enhance productivity, quality, and operational performance.
What We’re Looking For: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong CNC programming and machining experience, preferably in a precision manufacturing environment. Experience with CAD/CAM software and machining process development. Knowledge of cutting tools, machining strategies, and tooling optimization. Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).Experience with CREO software is a plus. Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and complex manufacturing requirements. Why Join FPD?
