About the role
NYS Institute for Basic Research in Staten Island seeks a Researcher Scientist 6/Geneticist to lead development and supervision of clinical genetic testing protocols for developmental disabilities. You will collaborate with clinicians and SCL to certify testing methods and establish new protocols in alignment with NYS DOH and OPWDD mission. The role requires MD or PhD with at least six years of clinical/research experience, and eligibility for a Laboratory Director Qualification.
