Millers Cove RdWalland, TN 37886 The Babysitter's position is to ensure that all children and guests have a memorable and educational experience while at Blackberry while staying in a safe environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Responsible for providing a safe environment for all children and Team Members • Greet parents and children • Confirm any allergy/medical information and take any special instruction about their child's needs • Act as a point of contact between the Front Desk and the child's parents • Must be able to keep children under control without physical force or contact • Babysitters should keep children under constant supervision while interacting with children to build positive relationships • Must have a valid driver's license Must comply with all company policies and procedures. Regular and consistent attendance is required to perform the essential functions of this position. Must be able to work well with other Team Members and Managers and interact with our guests. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES • None EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE • High School Diploma or equivalent required • 1-2 years experience working with children in some professional setting (nanny, daycare, camps, etc.) preferred • Must hold a CPR and First Aid Certification LANGUAGE SKILLS • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills • Must be able to communicate with guests, team members, and managers effectively MATHEMATICAL SKILLS • Basic knowledge and understanding of math REASONING ABILITY • Must be able to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goals PHYSICAL DEMANDS • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. • Must be able to sit or stand for an extended period • Must be able to operate a company vehicle or golf cart safely WORK ENVIRONMENT • 4,200 acres of Blackberry Farm property and 5,200 acres of Blackberry Mountain property
